Terrain: this is an easy walk, take the kids & push the stroller.
Some very minor climbing is involved for the retrival. Less than 2
miles round trip, in fact it's probably less than a mile. How long it
takes depends on how fast you move.

There is a fee ($6-7.00) to enter the park, or free with your N.Y.
Empire Pass. The fee is charged in the summer months. Household pets
only are allowed; caged or on a leash not more than 6'. Pets are not
allowed in the bathing areas. The park has 10 miles of trails and an
18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones. Camping, cabins,
boat rentals, biking, beach, picnic, pavilions, fishing, cross country
skiing and more.
Syracuse is centrally located in New York State, at the cross roads of
New York Thruway 90 (east & west) and Interstate 81 (north & south).
Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville is to the east of Syracuse, NY.
